This business development manager will be responsible for new and existing business for the assigned territory. This is an onsite position and candidates must be able to commute within the Houston area of 77021.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
- Cross functionally work with Marketing and Sales team to implement sales initiatives, plan and attend events, tradeshows, webinars, presentations and conferences.
- Prospect new business through outbound lead activity and research of potential clients.
- Track leads, accounts and opportunities through Salesforce CRM
- Manage KPI reports for daily and weekly use reporting metrics
- Keep updated with industry trends and organizational offerings across their services portfolio
Qualifications:
- Over 1-2 years of sales experience in a B2B setting
- Hunter mentality and ability to clearly communicate and comfortable discussing customer issues with a solution
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Ability to commute across the assigned territory and be onsite in the 77021 area when not in the field
Comp/Benefits:
- Monthly car allowance of $600
- Uncapped commission with a varied scale based on the service
- Base salary range: $55k - $75K
