Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, is currently seeking to hire a construction litigation paralegal for our Philadelphia or Harrisburg Office. Ideal candidates will possess 3 or more years of experience working as a construction litigation paralegal. The paralegal will assist during all phases of the litigation process, from initiation of a case to the discovery period, through trial.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of construction litigation, from pre-litigation investigation through trial and appeal.
  • Manage and coordinate eDiscovery processes, including data collection, processing, review, and production in compliance with federal and state rules.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and exhibits.
  • Conduct document review and privilege log preparation using platforms such as Relativity or DISCO.
  • Assist with the management of case files and maintain organized electronic document repositories.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors on data preservation and litigation hold procedures.
  • Support attorneys with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and managing transcripts.
  • Prepare chronologies, summaries, and reports for case development and strategy planning.
  • Support trial preparation and attend trial as needed, managing exhibits and logistical needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates on the progress of cases.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a construction litigation paralegal.
  • 3+ years of experience working with eDiscovery platforms.
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices.
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2017 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), WestLaw, Internet research skills, litigation management software, document management systems.


Candidate would be in the office 5 days a week for a trial period of 90 days. Thereafter, will be in office four days a week, one day remote.
