About the job
The Quality Engineer will participate in introducing a new product process and will be responsible for all quality documentation required for production, including control plans, inspection checklists, and customer-specific requirements deployment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in maintaining the DART Quality Management System, ensuring that current processes are updated according to the corresponding facility.
- Collaborate with other Quality team members to drive decisions concerning production situations/issues.
- Assist in hands-on production activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the Engineering Team for the introduction of a new product, and its change management processes.
- Lead and drive problem-solving teams.
- Oversee Product Audit and QMS audits
- Release certificate for finished goods.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor or DMIR in an aerospace environment
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace)
- Knowledge of AS 9100, FAA regulations, 14 CFR Part 21 and part 145 (Manufacturing & Repairs).
- Computer skills: MS Office, Quality Software, ERP System.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and time management with a demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of certification processes related to the aerospace industry.
- Ability to work with production engineering, manufacturing areas, and supply chain for new and existing products.
