SENIOR TRADE LANE MANAGER

  • Conduct weekly meetings with carriers, customer visits, and sales support to close new business. Develop strong relationships at global, regional, and local levels.
  • Maintain standard weekly pricing, evaluate market conditions, and ensure competitive service offerings. Negotiate rates, capacity, and contracts with ocean carriers.
  • Plan and conduct weekly sea freight product calls, manage allocation and capacity, and monitor overall volumes to meet budget requirements.
  • Develop and implement trade lane carrier strategies, own and lead the trade budget process, and interact with trade colleagues and countries throughout the year.
  • Engage with sales teams to convey customized solutions, support key business opportunities, and provide leadership in commercial and carrier issues.


Skills And Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management required, Master’s Degree preferred in Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
  • •Five to seven years of experience in trade lane management or route development experience required
  • •Extensive knowledge of ocean freight, freight forwarding and logistics business models.
  • •Industry certificates are a plus
  • •Proficient knowledge of all Hellmann products, and Partner network preferred
  • •Multilingual skills a plus
