Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking to hire an experienced product manager to define product vision and strategy for Container and Serverless products within OCI.
As a product manager with the OCI Containers, Kubernetes, and Serverless team, you will conceptualize, design, build, and evangelize tools for application and infrastructure management that are used by organizations at the forefront of innovation. You will be a vocal advocate for our customers within OCI, defining requirements, making feature prioritization trade-offs, collaborating with engineering teams, and evangelizing our product(s) through a well thought-out GTM strategy. This role requires coordination across many internal and external teams.
What you'll bring
4+ years in product management with at least 1+ years of PM experience in cloud computing
Experience with the full product lifecycle, from conception to go-to-market
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, or statistics
2+ years of experience working with engineering teams (technical product or program management or software engineering)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, information systems or business
Responsibilities
Who we're looking for: an experienced PM with a proven ability to execute effectively on a defined product roadmap; a self-starter who can lead projects with full autonomy. You will have a solid technical background - either gained through formal education or experience - and superlative communication skills. You will also have a demonstrable history of product development in the distributed systems and cloud technology domains.
What you'll do
Work with customers and prospective customers to define best-in-class products solve real customer pain points,
Work with UX researchers to improve our products' customer experience,
Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to execution,
Identify feature gaps and innovation opportunities by establishing goals and metrics and analyzing product usage, and
Evangelize our product by building a GTM strategy and working with Marketing, Architects, and field teams are set up for success

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74,700 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
