Position Overview:
They are seeking a full-time Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in employment law litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience with motion practice, and a proactive, client-centered approach to legal representation.
Practice Focus:
The majority of our work involves employment law matters-primarily defense-side-alongside select cases in other areas of civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and litigate employment law cases through all phases, from pre-litigation through resolution.
Draft motions, legal memoranda, and discovery-related documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies and provide ongoing counsel.
Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and internal team members.
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
At least 2 years of recent litigation experience in employment law.
Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A client-focused attitude and a professional demeanor.
A good sense of humor and the ability to not take yourself too seriously.
Work Expectations & Compensation:
Reasonable annual billable hour requirement of 1,600 hours.

2+ years of employment law experience
Licensed and in good standing with the CA State Bar
