Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising activities in the Warehouse, including ordering, receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials. They will oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of installation and service materials, ensuring workplace safety and security of the building and stock. Responsibilities also include planning the arrangement of goods, maintaining computerized systems, and working with Headquarters and accounting for safety procedures and costs.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complies with warehouse and inventory standard operating procedures.
  • Keeps warehouse clean and organized.
  • Accurate and timely picking and packing of orders.
  • Monitors inventory through cycle counts.
  • May assist in delivering equipment to job sites.
  • Loads and unloads delivery vehicles.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follows safety procedures and protocols.
  • Works on projects with deadlines.
  • Receives stock digitally, ensuring order accuracy.
  • Maintains manual and electronic records.
  • Researches order discrepancies and returns damaged/incorrect items.
  • Coaches warehouse staff.
  • Schedules or monitors product pickups and deliveries.
  • Manages all aspects of Warehouse Operations.
  • Supervises warehouse personnel.
  • Motivates and mentors staff for a performance-driven environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Education & Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • 1+ year of management experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and clean record
  • Criminal background check
  • Attention to detail and accurate counting
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

Physical Demands and Abilities

  • Lift up to 50 lbs., with safe practices for heavier items
  • Use carts, dollies, and other gear
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach
  • Operate warehouse equipment
  • Long hours sitting and using office equipment
  • Travel to remote sites (up to 50%)

Travel Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance to travel for business purposes.
