Responsibilities: Within the nursing center, the Dining Room Manager is the lead server and is tasked with managing overall dining room operations with the goal of providing excellence culinary experiences for our patients/residents and their families/guests while adhering to Genesis policies and procedures.
*Oversee dining room assignments, server scheduling and coordination of customer reservations.
*Coordinate customer dining reservation system.
*Maintain the dining areas in clean, neat and orderly condition with needed linens, tableware and equipment present and in order.
*Understand daily menu offerings and communicate meal and menu information to servers and patients/residents, families and guests.
*Obtain customer meal orders and serve meals in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
*Assist with basic preparation and portioning of foods and beverages, and dishwashing as assigned.
*Coordinate customer dining reservation system.
*Maintain the dining areas in clean, neat and orderly condition with needed linens, tableware and equipment present and in order.
*Understand daily menu offerings and communicate meal and menu information to servers and patients/residents, families and guests.
*Obtain customer meal orders and serve meals in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
*Assist with basic preparation and portioning of foods and beverages, and dishwashing as assigned.
*High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
*Demonstrated experience as a food server with supervisory and management skills is required.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
Posted Salary Range: USD $19.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
