<div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">About the Opportunity:</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">• Job Title: Group Leader, SMT</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">• Pay Rate Range: $21-25/Hour</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">• Location: Anoka, MN</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">• Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Thurs 6AM-4:30PM with optional O/T.</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">• Position Type: Temp to Hire</div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;"> </div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Requirements and Qualifications:</div><ol fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, or 1-2 years related work experience.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">3 to 5 years’ electronics manufacturing or production experience preferred.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Basic PS skills</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Must have some leadership and electronics experience in SMT/Electronics.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card is required.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Reading and understanding technical documents such as blueprints, bills of material, workmanship standards and equipment procedures.  Involves problem solving, confidentiality, basic math skills, written and verbal communication, customer contact and attention to detail.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player and leader.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities unsupervised.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.           </li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Flexibility to work extra hours when needed, including weekends.</li></ol><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Duties and Responsibilities:</div><ol fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;" type="disc"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Support production activities while looking for ways to improve production processes.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Assign jobs to move efficiently through the department to ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Evaluate workers’ performance and make recommendations as needed.  Address workmanship concerns in a timely manner. Promote good working relationships with employees. </li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Notify the supervisor and/or manufacturing manager of any delays that effect on-time delivery or situations that increase costs for building the product.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Train operators in all phases of the jobs motivate them to work at full potential.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Log times and move tickets into the computer on a timely basis.  Monitor times on the job operations and operator productivity level.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Interact with customers on product concerns and delivery schedules as required.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Train, maintain, and enforce safety policies and procedures, and report injuries or potential safety problems to the supervisor or manufacturing manager.  </li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch breaks.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Actively participates in quality efforts and support the Quality Policy through accountable action.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Responsible for compliance with the Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Act as an authorized agent to stop production when nonconformances are noted.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Accountable for accepting responsibility for continuous job training by actively participating in training put on by designated employees and/or any outside service.</li></ol><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Discover Award Staffing: </div><div fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
