Compensation: Base hourly rate of $28.85
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $70,000 – $100,000 annually (includes commission and bonuses)

Job Brief:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative with a strong “hunter mentality” to join our Inside Sales team at our New Jersey branch. This position is based in a call center environment and is focused on actively seeking out and engaging customer prospects to generate new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present, promote, and sell company products to existing and prospective customers using solid sales techniques.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of current/potential customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive customer relationships.
  • Conduct outbound calls, social media outreach, and schedule meetings with cannabis manufacturers.
  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Achieve defined sales targets and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to align on sales efforts.
  • Analyze market potential and maintain detailed sales and customer records.
  • Report on customer trends, feedback, and competitive activity.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and promotional best practices.
  • Handle promotional outreach, participate in trade shows, and conduct off-site sales activities.
  • Sell, deliver, and process customer orders.
  • Follow up strategically with current and prospective clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of inside sales or account management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in outbound calling, social media prospecting, and lead generation.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a lead or senior inside sales representative is a plus.
  • Experience in relationship-building and account management preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and BRM systems; MS Office proficiency.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis or vape industry is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently and within a team.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Sales, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base hourly rate of $28.85, with commission earned on every invoice (uncapped)
  • OTE: $70,000 – $100,000 annually (including bonuses and commissions)
  • Weekly sales incentives
  • Existing house accounts provided after 1 month
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (effective the 1st of the month after 60 days)
  • Paid Sick Leave and Vacation Time are provided in accordance with company policy
  • 10 paid holidays per year
  • 401(k) plan with company match (eligibility after 90 days)
