Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Finance in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the hotels.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial systems to safeguard assets and optimize efficiency.
- Participate in the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Support the Director of Finance in special projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
