The School of Business at Elizabethtown College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance. This full-time, 9-month position starts in August 2025, and involves teaching in-person on campus.
The School of Business is accredited by ACBSP Global and consists of 11 full-time faculty members. We are located in the James B. Hoover Center for Business, a modern facility that hosts smart classrooms; a 95-seat lecture hall; collaborative spaces for networking, team building, and group study; and a finance lab with 17 Bloomberg Terminals. We offer B.S. degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, Finance, Financial Economics, and Marketing, as well as a B.A. in Economics. Job Duties
The successful applicant will normally teach Corporate Finance, plus any of the following courses: International Financial Management, Investment, Financial Institution Management, Advanced Financial Management, and Financial Derivatives. The teaching load is three courses per semester. The applicant will also serve as an academic advisor to undergraduate students.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or DBA in Finance or related fields preferred. MBA or equivalent with teaching experience will be considered. Interest in teaching International Business is preferred.
