Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Cartersville, GA
Pay: 60-70k
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultative partner to department leaders by addressing employee concerns, managing employee relations matters, and offering HR guidance on company policies and practices.
- Support efforts around talent development and performance management to reinforce a high-performing, engaged team culture.
- Collaborate with recruiting partners throughout the hiring process, from interview coordination to offer delivery and onboarding support.
- Promote a positive workplace environment by building strong relationships with team members and contributing to morale, retention, and productivity.
- Conduct investigations and resolve complex employee issues with objectivity and discretion.
- Stay informed of employment laws and HR compliance standards, and advise stakeholders on risk mitigation.
- Help communicate and interpret HR policies for clarity and consistency across teams.
- Assist in planning and facilitating employee experience initiatives and events.
- Drive HR process improvements and contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.
- Support ongoing and new people initiatives aligned with company values and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline preferred
- 2–3 years of generalist experience in a human resources or people operations capacity
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Broad knowledge of HR functions including performance management, recruiting, employee relations, and compliance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced or uncertain environments
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and shifting needs
- Proactive and collaborative, with a hands-on and adaptable approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems such as ADP is beneficial
