Our client, and important Chilean company dedicated to frozen fruit & vegetables business is seeking his/her next Operation Manager, based in Miami, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead North America's operations, including supply chain management, sourcing, planning, inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, customer service, and foreign trade.
- Develop a strategy to achieve growth, productivity, cost, asset efficiency, and sustainability objectives while providing superior customer service by mediating the development of integrated operations strategies.
- Lead the transportation and logistics function: distribution, storage of supplies, and materials. Direct inbound and outbound logistics planning, analyze budgets, and process shipments with end-to-end responsibility, in addition to consolidating market opportunities in these areas.
- Work with leaders in the markets where the company operates: Business leaders to determine how the company can better serve its customers and improve operations.
- Identify and integrate key capabilities and information technologies necessary to meet operational efficiency, productivity, and agility challenges.
- Oversee import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international customs and trade regulations.
- Manage the necessary documentation for customs clearance and the correct tariff classification of products.

Experience and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or related field.
- At least five years in operations/logistics areas.
- Proven track record in the North American market with a history of managing commercial and customer service teams.
- Must be a collaborative leader with experience working with cross-cultural stakeholders and managing a variety of external key operational accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data, and anticipate future operational / Logistics needs or concerns.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the frozen food industry is a must.
- Bilingual Spanish & English is required.
