The Communications and Public Relations Director leads the strategy and execution of public relations, social media, and content development to increase AACSB's market visibility and reputation globally and regionally. The position serves as the primary media liaison and supports social media, blog content, video, and other communications tools to promote the AACSB brand and advocate the value of business education and AACSB accreditation across target audiences including media, prospective students and learners, business, and the education community. Core ResponsibilitiesDevelops and executes communications strategies and integrated plans, aligning PR, social media, and content development efforts to increase AACSB’s brand awareness and reputation worldwide.Manages plans, budgets, direct staff reports, and agencies to achieve goals.Serves as the primary media relations contact and spokesperson advisor and oversees proactive media outreach activities across the Americas, EMEA, and AP regions.Creates market awareness campaigns through press announcements, featured articles, media events, speaking opportunities, social campaigns, and special projects, ensuring that all communications are brand aligned and support AACSB's key messaging and voice in the market. Develops strategic promotional partnerships and content sharing agreements with key industry organizations and influencers.Monitors public opinion through media scans, social listening, and market research of emerging trends and topics in business education globally and regionally.Develops and monitors key metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of PR, social media, and content development efforts. RequirementsEight (8) years of direct experience in communications and public relations with a company, institution, or PR/advertising agency is required; A bachelor’s degree in communications, business, public relations, journalism, or related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
