Journeyman/Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician at Sunstate Mechanical Services
Shift: Monday – Friday. Hours may vary between 5am-4pm (Some rotation of on call shifts, nights and weekends)
Hourly Rate: $35-$50 (DOE)
Location: Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job)
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old.
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S
- You must be able to pass a drug test.
- You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
- For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
- You must have your own tool kit.
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- 5+ years of experienced preferred
Job Duties:
As you might expect, HVAC Service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:
- Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems.
- Working with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.
- Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload.
- Installing commercial units
- Responsible for teaching apprentices
- Additional duties as required
