JOB Title: Oncologist
Locations: Gillette, WY
Shifts: 8AM 5PM (Mon Fri)
Sign-on Bonus: $30,000

Job Summary:
An Oncologist is a medical doctor specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with cancer. The role involves developing treatment plans, managing patient care throughout the cancer journey, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to determine the presence and stage of cancer.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, which may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, or a combination of treatments.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Participate in clinical trials and research projects aimed at improving cancer treatment and patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completed residency in internal medicine.
Completed fellowship in oncology.
Board certification in oncology.
Valid state medical license or willing to obtain
