Registered Dietitian
Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional care plans for patients in a healthcare setting. They will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the appropriate nutrition to support their health and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans based on their needs and medical conditions
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and dietary habits
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive appropriate nutrition support during their hospital stay or outpatient treatment
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
