What You Need To Know
The Red Cross’s high-performing Organizational Effectiveness team is looking for a Talent and Organizational Development Consultant to focus on advancing our organization’s approach to goal setting, performance management, talent planning, talent assessment and succession planning.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work remotely (100% from home).

This position will be responsible for:
- Serving as a trusted subject matter expert across the Red Cross on talent management programs, including performance management, talent planning, talent assessment and succession planning.
- Leading and managing highly effective projects related to talent management, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Identifying process improvements based on client feedback and proposing solutions for approval.
- Providing expert guidance and consultation to HR partners on talent management programs and the execution of relevant processes within the business.
- Developing, updating and delivering supporting resources, training materials, reference guides, reports and presentations.
- Partnering with HR technology and analytics teams to ensure IT systems support effective process execution and provide analytics that enhance program development and leaders’ ability to make talent-related decisions.
- Managing relationships with internal clients and building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust.
- Analyzing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving effectiveness of talent programs and other outcomes across the organization
- Developing and executing change management plans to support implementation of new program components.
- Researching and staying up to date on trends and best practices in talent management.
- Supporting other organizational effectiveness initiatives/processes including organizational development, change management and employee engagement/experience.

What You Need To Succeed
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Skills & Abilities: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills. Projects professionalism and appropriate detail through communication skills: verbally, on paper, in emails and in presentations. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, while practicing high collaboration with colleagues. Listens well and seeks clarification with an ability to learn and assimilate information quickly. Ability to handle multiple priorities, effectively analyze problems, and recommend appropriate solutions. Ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear. Follows policies and procedures, maintains confidentiality and works with integrity and ethics.

- Strong background working with technology, using Microsoft products, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Workday experience is a plus.

- Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.
