The Optum Pay Provider Enrollment Processor will be responsible for performing the appropriate processes to enroll and maintain enrollment for Optum Pay providers. Enrollment includes validating provider financial and business information. The processor will review, investigate and process enrollment using the Optum Pay applications. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies fraud enrollment trends as necessary.

This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am – 4:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at Optum Camp-Bldg 1, Eden Prairie,MN.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise or general support by reviewing, researching, investigating, processing, and adjusting Optum Pay enrollments
  • Authorize enrollment or refer to investigators for further review analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
  • Strive for provider service excellence
  • Assisting provider with account maintenance to ensure payments are processed accurately
  • Outbound provider calls as needed
  • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Safeguard transactions and escalate when applicable
  • Adapt to changing business objectives
  • Verify true providers and the activity on their account
  • Thoroughly review enrollment items for fraudulent activity 
  • Apply expanded knowledge base of fraud schemes to assist in handling of specialized fraud functions such as identity theft and cross-channel fraud
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and applications
  • Ability to multi-task - this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Self-Starter
