Job Overview: As a Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of coordinating, planning, implementing and measuring school related youth and teen programs. You will collaborate with school staff, parents and volunteers and develop partnerships with community organizations to enhance the quality of youth and teen programming. Programs will foster positive identity, education, employment, social, emotional and cultural competencies, community and civic involvement, health and life skills and character development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage all aspects of youth and teen programs. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers as necessary. Collaborate with community organizations to develop and expand programming. Develop and manage program budgets. Create and maintain positive relationships with program participants, families, staff, volunteers and community partners. Programs may include, but are not limited to, school-based enrichment programs, before and/or afterschool programs, college and/or career related explorations, school related field trips, academic remediation and/or tutoring programs, intramural sports, and holiday and/or summer enrichment camps. Ensure the evaluation of programs on a continual basis, including tracking outcome metrics; verifying that programs/activities respond to member needs and address their gender and cultural diversity. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, social work, youth development, etc.) required Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, youth development, education, or related field Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with staff and volunteers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Passion for education and youth development
