WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Manager of Learning & Development!

As the Manager of Learning and Development, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization. This position involves designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs to enhance employee skills, boost performance, and align with organizational goals. You should have a passion for learning, excellent instructional design skills, and the ability to facilitate effective learning experiences.


  • Possess a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide a team of training professionals effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive learning programs, including curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment tools, to address identified training needs and professional development of employees at various levels within the organization.
  • Develop curriculum and learning materials that align with business goals, ensuring relevance and applicability to the roles and responsibilities of different teams.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. Deliver engaging and impactful presentations to convey complex concepts and training materials.
  • Develop a strategic vision for learning and development that supports long-term organizational goals. Align training programs with the evolving needs of the organization and industry.
  • Leverage learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Explore innovative approaches such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) for enhanced learning experiences.
  • Oversee the development and management of e-learning platforms, specifically the Learning Management System (LMS). Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in learning technologies to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements. Collaborate with department heads to understand specific team needs and tailor learning initiatives accordingly.
  • Analyze training needs and design solutions to address skill gaps and performance challenges. Adapt to changes in the organizational environment and adjust learning strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, managers, and other stakeholders to gather input, ensure training content is accurate, and align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, department managers, and executives, to align learning and development strategies with organizational objectives, goals and workforce planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting the value of professional development and encouraging employees to take advantage of learning opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance learning programs based on feedback, industry best practices, and evolving business needs. Strive for continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of learning initiatives.
  • Create and implement engaging and effective training programs, both in-person and online, to address the professional development needs of employees at various levels within the organization.


  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education or a related field preferred. Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field; experience in a corporate training environment is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in Articulate, Adobe or other course creation software
  • Minimum of 1 year working in an LMS as either a course creator or administrator
  • Minimum competencies in the MS Office Suite
