Position Summary:

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate must have outpatient/ambulatory care experience and triage experience, and be available to work on Mondays and Fridays. This role requires providing age-appropriate care to patients and working collaboratively within a medical office setting.

Requirements:

  • Must have outpatient/ambulatory care experience
  • Must have triage experience
  • Must be able to work Mondays and Fridays
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current LPN or RN Licensure is required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • One to three years of related experience preferred
  • Previous medical office experience is desirable
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desirable
  • Three to five years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served, utilizing knowledge and skills necessary for effective care.
  • Perform patient triage and assessments in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
