Position Summary:
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate must have outpatient/ambulatory care experience and triage experience, and be available to work on Mondays and Fridays. This role requires providing age-appropriate care to patients and working collaboratively within a medical office setting.
Requirements:
- Must have outpatient/ambulatory care experience
- Must have triage experience
- Must be able to work Mondays and Fridays
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN or RN Licensure is required
- Current BLS certification required
- One to three years of related experience preferred
- Previous medical office experience is desirable
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desirable
- Three to five years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served, utilizing knowledge and skills necessary for effective care.
- Perform patient triage and assessments in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
