Occupational Health & Wellness - Registered Nurse

Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY
The Colleague Wellness Nurse will provide clinical occupational health and wellness services dictated by established *** guidelines and assist with clerical or other services as needed, based on clinic needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
" Conducts medical surveillance including spirometry, audiometric testing, vision testing, throat cultures, EKGs, and respirator fit testing.
" Performs routine or specialized procedures such as venipuncture and drug screens
" Assesses injuries, performs first aid, cleanses and dresses wounds
" Flushes' eyes and ears
" Maintains confidentiality with all patient care, familiar with HIPAA regulations
" Maintains medical equipment including daily calibrations
" Schedules and monitors patient appointments
" Performs record management for clinic records
" Provides administrative support to the clinic

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
" Reports to Colleague Wellness (CW) site leader
" Works directly with site colleagues
" Collaborates with various departments as needed including EHS, HR, legal.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
" RN Board Certification
" COHN-S preferred
" Suggest a minimum of 5 years experience as an OHW professional
" Demonstrates experience in acute episodic care, wellness care and counseling of adults
" Proficiency in use of electronic medical record keeping systems desirable

" Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) required
" Workers' Compassion, OSHA, ADA
" Treatment of injuries
" Medical screenings & surveillance
" Ergonomics
" Preventative Care
" Medical documentation

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
" Clinic Setting
" 24-40+/- hours per week / 8-hour shift / Min 3 days per week
" Monday-Friday
" Reliable

Position Comments visible to Supplier: HM is seeking Full or Part Time candidate (min 3 days per week)
8-hour shift (hours vary from early morning to early evening depending on need)
