The Continuous Improvement Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and assure processes and product quality consistency
- Investigating and resolving manufacturing customer complaints and quality issues
- Providing guidance and support in conducting root cause analyses, process optimizations, and quality control procedures
- Leading site continuous improvement initiatives
- Participating and leading several Forming process and product management team meetings
- Help maintaining safe work standards that meet all legal requirements
- Assisting Site QMS Representative in assuring ISO9001 standard requirements are met
- Hiring, managing and leading Site Continuous Improvement Team
- Occasional travel
Education/Experience/ Skills requirements:
- College Degree; Bachelor of Science
- Minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification and/or CI/Lean experience
- Self-Starter
- Passion and drive to improve systems and processes
- Excellent analytical, quantitative problem-solving and data analysis skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in global environment
- Good project management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Minitab, and SharePoint
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a typical office environment involving exposure to fluorescent lighting, potential ink fumes, contact with synthetic materials and air conditioning.
