We're hiring a Continuous Improvement Team Leader in Appleton, WI! This position would be great for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and values teamwork and team support. You will be responsible to ensure adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, improve operational efficiency, and reduce waste throughout the Appleton Forming Site's manufacturing operations.

The Continuous Improvement Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and assure processes and product quality consistency
  • Investigating and resolving manufacturing customer complaints and quality issues
  • Providing guidance and support in conducting root cause analyses, process optimizations, and quality control procedures
  • Leading site continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participating and leading several Forming process and product management team meetings
  • Help maintaining safe work standards that meet all legal requirements
  • Assisting Site QMS Representative in assuring ISO9001 standard requirements are met
  • Hiring, managing and leading Site Continuous Improvement Team
  • Occasional travel

Education/Experience/ Skills requirements:

  • College Degree; Bachelor of Science
  • Minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification and/or CI/Lean experience
  • Self-Starter
  • Passion and drive to improve systems and processes
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in global environment
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Minitab, and SharePoint

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a typical office environment involving exposure to fluorescent lighting, potential ink fumes, contact with synthetic materials and air conditioning.
