Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 12 years in Accounting with a strong background in financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or CMA required.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in technical accounting standards and audit processes.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing operations and costing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Fluent with computers and spreadsheet software.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Leadership and Quality: Experience in quality programs, team building, and employee involvement.

Job Details:
  • Global Financial Management: Lead international consolidations and reporting in collaboration with the FP&A Manager and international finance teams.
  • Executive Advisory: Provide expert advice to the CFO, President, and leadership team on all technical accounting matters.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other relevant regulations across all locations.
  • Parent Company Liaison: Serve as the main accounting resource for updates and compliance with Parent Company Dover.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage company-wide compliance and coordinate all internal and external audits.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Partner with the FP&A Manager to prepare and analyze monthly financial results.
  • Team Development: Train and develop personnel, ensuring cross-training and backup support for key functions.
  • General Ledger Integrity: Maintain and design General Ledger report structures, ensuring consistency across all locations.
  • Banking and Payroll Management: Oversee banking relationships, payroll functions, and manage various financial transactions.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and reports as needed by the CFO or President.
