Position Overview: As a Project Coordinator on our product team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various furniture manufacturing projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, production, and marketing, to drive projects from concept to completion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and obstacles.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between product design, supply chain, engineering, production, and marketing control teams.
- Coordinate resources and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and status updates.
- Generate regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Track project expenses, budgets, and resource allocations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the project management workflow.
- Proactively seek feedback from project team members to improve project delivery and execution.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.
Miscellaneous Duties:
- Assist the Product & Marketing Team with sales requests and other various one-off tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, product development preferred.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
