Currently we are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our Retail Software Engineering team. As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will work to ensure we deliver a quality solution to our internal customers. You will be responsible for performing the detailed tasks outlined below.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop test automation frameworks.
- Automating test scenarios using the frameworks.
- Knowing and using design patterns where appropriate.
- Setting up the infrastructure to run tests:
- Running tests in CI/CD.
- Running tests in parallel.
- Running tests with the appropriate test data.
- Setting up dashboards for reporting test results in real time.
- Teaching others good quality and testing practices.
- Review/Test user stories to ensure they meet the acceptance criteria prior to User Acceptance Testing.
- Work with the business to prioritize initiatives.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Review business processes and develop optimization strategies around our testing methodologies.
- Developing tools to assist in manual and exploratory testing.
- Work on automating manually driven processes with the Retail space
What You’ll Need:
- Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
- Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, Java or other programming languages.
- Experienced in working within an "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
- Knowledge about various test methods & corresponding tools like MS Test, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
- Exposure to Behavior Driven Development or Test-Driven Development
- Able to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
- Be extremely curious and experimental on how to resolve automation issues.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
