Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage environmental projects including field work and reporting
- Collect soil, soil vapor, and groundwater samples
- Perform operation & maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems
- Organizing and prioritizing a diverse workload; maintaining accurate records
- Oversee soil borings and monitoring well installations
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data
- Preparation of technical reports including but not limited to proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans
- Assist with Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments
- Ability to communicate and work constructively with others
- Perform environmental, health and safety services
- Assist with industrial hygiene projects
Minimum Requirements:
- BA or BS in geology, engineering, or environmental sciences
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
- Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with minimum supervision
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Technical Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in VTDEC Irule and Brownfields related regulations and polices a plus
- Experience with implementing and overseeing soil, groundwater, vapor, and air sampling
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other widely used computer programs
- Excellent technical writing skills
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- Working vehicle
- A valid driver’s license and must be able to pass a MVR
- Awareness of behavior-based safety culture and acts accordingly
- Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Familiar with EDR Parcel and Quire Platforms a plus
- PG or PE a plus
