Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage environmental projects including field work and reporting
  • Collect soil, soil vapor, and groundwater samples
  • Perform operation & maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems
  • Organizing and prioritizing a diverse workload; maintaining accurate records
  • Oversee soil borings and monitoring well installations
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data
  • Preparation of technical reports including but not limited to proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans
  • Assist with Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments
  • Ability to communicate and work constructively with others
  • Perform environmental, health and safety services
  • Assist with industrial hygiene projects


Minimum Requirements:

  • BA or BS in geology, engineering, or environmental sciences
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
  • Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with minimum supervision
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification


Technical Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in VTDEC Irule and Brownfields related regulations and polices a plus
  • Experience with implementing and overseeing soil, groundwater, vapor, and air sampling
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other widely used computer programs
  • Excellent technical writing skills


Other miscellaneous qualities:

  • Working vehicle
  • A valid driver’s license and must be able to pass a MVR
  • Awareness of behavior-based safety culture and acts accordingly
  • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Familiar with EDR Parcel and Quire Platforms a plus
  • PG or PE a plus
