About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Center for Career Design and Development. The successful candidate will provide innovative and strategic leadership for a comprehensive career center that serves the professional preparation and success of undergraduate and select graduate students. This role involves program development, administration, and a strong commitment to increasing student engagement, enhancing career preparation, and fostering the self-confidence and connections that lead to post-graduation success. The Executive Director will lead a team of career services professionals, oversee the development of career programs and resources, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the accessibility and inclusivity of career services. Utilizing data analytics, the Executive Director will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of career services programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Applicants must have a Master's degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in promoting career development, preferably within a higher education setting. The role requires demonstrated leadership, supervisory capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a diverse, goal-oriented, and data-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include a commitment to customer service, forward-looking and change management skills, and proficiency in current technologies and social media. The Executive Director will also be responsible for representing the career services department on various university committees and staying abreast of industry trends to ensure the programs remain cutting-edge.
