We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for an Insurance Placement Specialist - Commercial Lines to join our growing team in West Palm Beach.


The Insurance Placement Specialist is responsible for renewal marketing. The teammate will work closely with Producers and Account Managers to develop a marketing plan for renewal accounts.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining solid relationships with Carriers and Brokers, as well as internal staff.
  • Responsible for marketing all assigned renewals
  • Markets & places commercial account renewals and negotiates prices and coverages with carriers.
  • Review the completed submission for accuracy before sending it out
  • Responsible for obtaining additional information from underwriters
  • Have open lines of communication with Producers and Account Managers on all accounts
  • Review expiration lists 120 days out with the Account Manager and Producer
  • Review applications and loss runs for submission 90 days out
  • Delegate quotes from incumbent carriers to account managers
  • Complete the Marketing Checklist with the Account Managers or Producer
  • Follow Quality Control requirements; Maintain account files and oversee that documents are placed into appropriate sections for Quality Control guidelines
  • Work with the Producer and Account Manager to develop renewal proposals (to be presented by the producer. Responsibilities may include comparative spreadsheets.
  • Utilize the Agency Management System as required by company policy.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Associate’s degree
  • P&C license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to write and verbally communicate professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, PP, Office365)
  • Experience in AMS360 and Image Right preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of property & Casualty brokerage/consulting/risk management experience
