What You'll Do
Working in collaboration with the ASC Coordinator to plan, implement, direct, cooperate and evaluate the clinical functions of the perioperative unit. Works jointly with the coordinator, physicians, and staff to develop the department's mission, vision, values, goals, policies, and procedures. In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently perform systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
Requirements
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
Must be a prior Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Patient Care On boarder as a RN or with demonstrated comparable experience.
Must be able to work in each O.R. setting at a high level as an RN Circulator, PACU and Pre-Op nurse upon employment.
Ten years total of demonstrated excellence in RN clinical care in a Main O.R. or ASC setting.
