Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Project Manager to lead and oversee their diverse range of construction projects. As a pivotal member of the team, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, managing client relationships, and driving excellence in construction operations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead commercial construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Client Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Scheduling and Planning: Create comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize project timelines.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with project goals and company policies.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures, conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure project success.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare regular progress reports, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety on the construction site.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and building codes.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
