As a Commercial Insurance Sales Executive in Hobbs, NM, you help the team create new business development opportunities. A hands-on role, where clients like to do business in-person, you partner with a senior producer to learn the ropes of networking with local leaders, provide risk consulting to a variety of businesses, and serve as an advisor to clients throughout the sales and client service process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set and achieve established new business sales goals
- Serve as the ongoing client consultant working closely throughout the year to monitor coverage, claims, pricing, and enhancement options
- Collaborate on sales projects and initiatives; participate in cross-selling opportunities with the employee benefits division
Skills & Experience
- At least 2-3 years of professional career experience, either inside or outside the insurance industry
- For insurance professionals, the company is open to applicants with experience working in another insurance discipline like marketing, claims, or loss control
- For individuals interested in exploring a career within the insurance industry, prior sales experience is important so your knowledge and contacts can be leveraged as a starting point to build and execute a business development plan
