We are now accepting applications for a Manufacturing Engineer for our global client in Williamsburg, KY (approximately 1:15 minute commute from Knoxville). Only US Citizens or greencard holders will be considered.


Position Summary: Are you ready to lead the charge in bringing innovative engineering projects to life? As a Project Engineer with our client, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans for engineering projects. Acting as a crucial link between Engineering, Sales, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Manufacturing, you'll drive new product launches and ensure seamless project execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects of diverse scope independently, overseeing every aspect from inception to completion.
  • Track and manage the status of components, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing development, ensuring timely delivery from prototype builds to production launch.
  • Coordinate manufacturing stage gate requirements across multiple programs, facilitating efficient project progress reporting.
  • Spearhead plant-sponsored development builds, from prototype to pilot level, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans to optimize plant capacity and manufacturing capabilities, positioning the company for future growth and success.
  • Foster strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in documentation, planning, and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, capital amortization, and depreciation.
  • Proficient with MS Project; PMP certification highly desired.
