Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities
• Assist the Student Support Services Director and Project SUCCESS staff in the creation and implementation of departmental social media and public relations materials.
• Social media platform advice, creation, and maintenance.
• Some graphic design.
• Assist with recruitment initiatives and marketing campaigns.
• Post flyers on campus.
• Interact with students, faculty, and staff across campus.
• Exercise confidentiality.

Qualifications
• Must be a high school graduate and student at Jefferson College.
• Be in good standing with the College and community.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and social media outlets.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software is preferred.
• Possess knowledge of basic public relations and marketing principles, as well as graphic design, website design, and social media platforms.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and able to stay on task with limited supervision.
