Anticipated Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00/hr W-2 plus benefits
The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
As a Web Operations & Experience Manager, this person will help drive website experience strategy, oversee technical website operations, and implement optimizations to ensure a positive and engaging website user experience. Using data-driven insights, this person will support the short- and long-term roadmap for our client's website and the wider web ecosystem, delivering experiences that lead to increased traffic, engagement and user conversion. This person will also work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure that the website meets the needs of all our client's stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with research and analytics teams to ensure that web experience aligns with key needs of target personas
- Collaborate with digital experience stakeholders across the business to promote positive end-to-end journeys that enable people to discover, try, buy, use and advocate.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Web Content Management systems, helping to drive alignment between technology and organizational goals
- Support technical SEO operations, including site structure, indexability and overall site health
- Coordinate with IT and marketing technologists to ensure that web technologies are integrated and operationalized to support customer journeys, while confirming proper measurement is in place
- Support domain name management operations
- Oversee tag management strategy, governance and operations
- Translate insights into clear project requirements for UX and Development teams
- Propose tests and experiments to improve site performance and generate learnings
- Configure web technologies within ecosystem to work together to support customer journeys, while ensuring proper tracking and measurement is in place
- Monitor operational performance of website and make optimizations to improve speed, SEO, accessibility and uptime
- Use analytics and monitoring tools to identify user frustration/friction, and work with teams to resolve UX or technical issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 5+ years leading web strategy, operations and website roadmaps
- Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies that improve operational productivity and customer experience
- Expert knowledge of Google Analytics 4
- Understanding of Project Management fundamentals and Agile project methodology, as well as using Jira and Trello
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Fluent comprehension of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web security standards and user privacy laws
- Expert knowledge of Web Content Management Systems, Analytics, Tag Management and integrated web technologies such as chat, search, video and more
- Knowledge of technical SEO concepts and tools such as Google Search Console
- Knowledge of UX best practices and ability to implement simplified, elegant digital experiences
