Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient and driven Web Analytics and Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our data-centric organization, you will play a crucial role in converting raw data into actionable insights that steer business decisions. In this position, you will be tasked with overseeing web analytics tools, crafting and executing data collection strategies, and constructing robust business intelligence solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to refining our digital footprint, enriching user experiences, and nurturing data-driven strategies.


Primary Responsibilities:

Web Analytics Oversight:

  • Manage and uphold web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to ensure precise data collection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to delineate and execute tracking requisites for websites, mobile applications, and other digital assets.
  • Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot tracking discrepancies, and ensure seamless data flow.

Data Collection Strategy:

  • Devise and implement data collection strategies to capture pertinent user interactions, events, and behaviors on digital platforms.
  • Cooperate with developers to proficiently integrate tracking codes and tags, while adhering to performance and accuracy best practices.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Analyze web traffic patterns, user behavior, and conversion rates to furnish insights on user engagement and digital marketing efficacy.
  • Discern trends, opportunities, and avenues for enhancement through comprehensive data analysis and segmentation.

Business Intelligence Solutions:

  • Forge and sustain business intelligence solutions and dashboards utilizing tools like Looker, Power BI, or custom-built solutions.
  • Translate intricate data into comprehensible visualizations, reports, and presentations that underpin decision-making across diverse levels.

Data-Driven Recommendations:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and UX teams to offer data-driven recommendations that inform strategy and enhance digital experiences.
  • Propose A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and gauge the repercussions of modifications.

Data Governance and Privacy:

  • Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) by implementing fitting data governance practices and measures.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices concerning data privacy and security.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in web analytics, data analysis, and business intelligence roles.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics UA and GA4, Adobe Analytics) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker, Power BI).
  • Proficient SQL skills for data querying and manipulation. Familiarity with BigQuery is beneficial.
  • Acquaintance with data visualization principles and tools.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing concepts and user experience principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
