Senior Technical System Analyst in Kansas City, MO (onsite work) long term contract, competitive market rate.


We are looking to on-board 2 System Analysts to the CX team to assist with on-going programs/projects. This role holders will cut-across the different product teams within CX and will work with the internal team in identifying issues and resolving them during different phases of the SDLC.


Job Description:

This position is responsible for understanding and documenting the system-to-system design, api/contracts and opportunities to improve (process and technology) required to deliver the value of the business case. The System Analyst positions have skills in problem solving through the application of proven process improvement techniques and troubleshooting the technical issues and to help the developers with pinpointing the problem. The role will primarily be in an execution position, poised to leverage technical knowledge for the benefit of the project and to other less technical members of the team.

The Analyst is accountable for both expanding for users by providing the deep, technical skills to issues or opportunities resulting in technical additions (services, common routines, etc.) or more stable and supportable technology environments.

This role will interact with other analysts, engineers, architects, business users, vendors, and other parties as they work toward supporting one or more business processes. They will be immersed at times in troubleshooting and issue resolution while at other times be charged with developing technical aids or solutions to Hallmark’s business and technology problems.


Responsibilities:

  • Research issues, develop recommendations and actively engage product teams to develop solutions to business and technology problems.
  • Work closely with operational support and ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with established Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure the tech solutions are delivering to stated objectives and addressing the business problem.
  • Lead efforts to restore normal operations as quickly as possible with the least possible impact to the business and end user/consumer.
  • Coordinate effort with other SMEs to ensure the end-to-end business process value is realized across system boundaries.
  • Implement changes to technical environment as necessary to correct operating errors and improve system performance.
  • Develop appropriate documentation in support of value realization and document Standard operating procedures for operational support teams.
  • Provide feedback to product teams to align the design/development to address operational needs and non-functional requirements related to scalability, operability, and maintainability.
  • Communicate broadly to business and IT stakeholders on operational issues and plans to resolve them.
  • Work with Engineering Managers to address Tech debts.


Qualifications:

Min Formal Education required: Bachelor’s degree.

Min. Experience required: 8+ years of experience in technology related field. This role typically has deep technical skills in one or more of the following with working knowledge of the remainder (.net, Mulesoft, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Java, GoLang, Oracle, SQL, AWS cloud tech).


Basic Skills Required: Agile, ITIL, Analysis and research, Verbal and Written communication, Organization and planning.
