Creates and maintains Employee Health files according to company policy and regulations.
May involve providing nursing care for minor injuries and illnesses among staff members, under the directive of the company's Employee Health Medical Director.
Handles work-related employee illness and injury records..
Handles all employee-related bloodborne pathogen exposures/incident reports.
Participates in educational trainings pertaining to workplace safety.
Administers and documents employee/staff immunizations.
Under the directive of the company's Employee Health Medical Director, handles employee-related communicable disease exposure, including necessary follow-up/contact tracing.
May involve guidance for employees in need of employee assistance or community resources.
Involves budget and financial planning for department expenditures.
Must accurately document employee visits within the department of Employee Health.
Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and protection of patient/employee privacy.
Other duties as assigned/necessary.
Requirements:
Must hold current/active Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky.
Minimum 4 years of nursing experience within an employee health setting (or related) highly preferred.
CPR/BLS Certification Required
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
