We plan on growing 10X in the next ten years and we are looking for an experienced VP of Sales and Market who can help us get there. As our next VP of Sales and Marketing, you will develop and implement global strategies that increase sales and market penetration, driving the acceptance of our products worldwide. In this role, you will be customer service-minded, promoting our mission of inspiring our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Create comprehensive sales and marketing strategies with a focus on earning new business at the rate necessary to meet aggressive short-term and long-term growth goals
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales organization that consistently achieves targets
  • Continually build, improve, and optimize systems, processes, tools, teams, and activities that profitably and sustainably grow revenue, earnings, customers, and value
  • Help define and drive overall business vision and strategy
  • Execute in collaboration with other key executives and departments
  • Implement and manage sales forecasting processes that accurately predict future revenue performance.
  • Ensure forecasting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the company

Sales
  • Designing, implementing, and managing market segment sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
  • Developing, approving, and implementing rental, product distribution, and sales channel strategies
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, end users globally, and key dealers.
  • Developing key metrics used to measure the success of key team initiatives and sales programs
  • Working closely with Sales and Product Strategy Leadership to develop and guide our product roadmap
  • Assisting in collecting data and trends on current and new products
  • Ensuring that product plans are completed and executed
  • Providing financial analysis by market segment, region, etc.

Marketing
  • Overseeing our global branding efforts to ensure its consistency across all market segments
  • Leverage team to effectively use social media and web branding efforts
  • Constantly monitoring the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks
  • Collaborating with Operations and Product Strategy to ensure that Marketing support for new product development and launch is coordinated and timely
  • Working with Product Strategy Director and Marketing Director Marketing Team to create go-to-market strategies and develop new product launch campaign requirements
  • Internal marketing initiative

Requirements
  • Travel is required
  • BS in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field experience
  • 6+ years in sales, dealer management, account management, or related role
  • Strong experience and technical skills in sales and marketing strategy development, execution, business market development, market research, and planning
  • Strong experience successfully leading complex sales negotiations
  • Strong experience with multi-channel sales
  • Strong people management experience and skills in effectively leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated record of leading employees through effective hiring, training, mentoring, and coaching
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong experience with CRM tools and applications
