We are seeking a dynamic and driven drinks industry expert to lead marketing activations this summer (May - September) for an exciting new RTD product with Mark Anthony Brands.


The role of the Brand Advocate is to represent the latest brand within the Mark Anthony Brands portfolio, Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers Gin Cocktails, and break through a seasonal market during the peak summer time to spread brand love and move the needle.


We are looking for someone who is an expert at event and sampling activations, has strong promotional experience, and is well versed in the 3-tier system. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about drinks, wants to manage their schedule, and is excited to be the in-market leader responsible for driving success and impact. 


To qualify, applicants must reside in the Hamptons, NY area. All role responsibilities and activations will be within this market.

This position will be employed by Sidecar Drinks but will represent Mark Anthony Brands externally.

  • Skilled Communicator: An eloquent storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to capture the attention of the audience with compelling narratives and education.


AS THE MARK ANTHONY BRAND ADVOCATE, YOU WILL…

  • Lead the field marketing activation plan to drive visibility and velocity of Dillon’s RTD brand in the off-, on-, and non-premise.
  • Execute flawless promotional and sampling events by providing customer product education, managing event supplies and inventory, coordinating product and merch deliveries for events, liaising with vendors/partners, and being an on-site ambassador.
  • Create a strong brand presence at retail by ensuring perfect store executions (POS, self-auditing, managing displays, etc)
  • Work with the distributor sales team to build the brand in key accounts by helping to execute developed sales plans, continuous follow-up with accounts, and ultimately sell-in the products
  • Build rapport and brand affinity with target consumers through in-person engagements at all touch points.
  • Provide weekly recap reports on progress against KPIs, customer updates, and brand competition activity.
  • Learn a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks after all.


YOU MUST HAVE…

  • 3+ years of field sales experience and promotional experience for brands or distributors
  • Event execution and product sampling experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the alcohol and/or beer industry and the 3-tier system
  • The ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as the role is required
  • Proven ability to independently balance multiple projects successfully
  • A high standard of output - always executing with excellence
  • Reliability, punctuality (no tolerance for “no call, no shows”)
  • Valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation


COMPENSATION: 

  • $1,000 - $1,500 per week (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
  • A $1,000 monthly stipend to cover in-market travel, mileage, and other miscellaneous job-related costs.


This is a contract position from May - September 2024.
