Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: San Carlos, CA
Duration: 6-12 months Contract
Model: Hybrid (Onsite - 3 days a week)

A Day In The Life Of Our Electrical Engineer Contractor (design) :
- Work with cross functional members to generate requirements (ERDs) to build into schematics.
- Build schematic designs (in Altium)
- Work with mechanical engineers and PCBA vendors to build into layouts.
- Build layout designs (in Altium)
- Review designs from other team members when needed.
- Bring up and debug on various PCBAs.
- Expect various relevant documentation for all PCBA designs.
About You:
- 7+ experience in electrical engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Altium Designer
- Previous work experience with motor control electrical designs: bridge drivers for DC and BLDC motors, analog and digital encoders, sensitive feedback for closed loop control, motor driver selection, interface circuitry, and protection and safety features.
- Previous work experience with low-speed design: USB, Ethernet 10/100, SPI, I2C, etc...
- Previous work experience with power architecture design
- Bonus: previous work experience with MIPI
- Bonus: previous work experience with embedded programming (enough to get the board up and running.)
- Bonus: previous work experience with Ethercat architecture.
- Bonus: previous work experience using FPGAs for motor control.
