Were Looking For a Senior Appian Engineer

Our team is looking for someone who has a passion for developing performant and robust Appian applications while supplying the continued evaluation and advancement of Appian technologies in a given organization.

Were looking for a natural consultant who can build and maintain relationships in financial and tech environments. The ideal candidate will be a driver of process, accountability, customer engagement, and strategy. This will be driven from a proven ability to plan and execute scalable strategies, superior client management, escalation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

At InRhythm, You Will

  • Be responsible for driving the design and implementation of Appian applications for consumer businesses.
  • Work with stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and QA testers to carry out SDLC activities.
  • Identify pitfalls ahead of time, raising concerns, and managing expectations with all stakeholders.
  • Identify where workflow automation can be applied to various aspects of the development process and projects.
  • Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and address defects.
  • Collaborate with globally located cross functional teams in building customer-centric retail consumer banking products or supporting services.
  • Build trusted partnerships with product managers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Define and break out epics/features for others, while maintaining a sense of the whole picture.
  • Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver working software incrementally.
  • Help InRhythms technology division by collaborating on the interviewing pipeline, mentoring less-experienced engineers, hosting tech talks and workshops, identifying industry trends to discuss, and participating in practice activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience with Appian 16.X or higher
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience with MS SQL Server or other SQL RDMS
  • Recent certifications for one of the the following:
  • Appian Certified Analyst
  • Appian Certified Application Designer (ACAD - L1)
  • Experience with Appian technologies such as the following:
  • Appian Application Servers
  • Appian Complex Data Types (CDTs)
  • Appian Data Management
  • Appian Data Stores
  • Appian Document Knowledge Center
  • Appian Forms
  • Appian Plugins
  • Appian Process Modelers
  • Appian Records
  • Appian Rules & Expressions
  • Appian Sites
  • Appian Smart Services
  • Appian Tempo
  • Appian XSD
  • Experience with the following Appian responsibilities:
  • Build and consume web services in Appian
  • Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies such as LDAP, Active Directory, Security and other internal systems in the enterprise
  • Design CDTs that interact with external databases
  • Design expression rules, constants, and query rules
  • Design role-based access control Appian components
  • Design UI SAIL Forms for Site and Tempo environment
  • Develop SAIL Records and Reports
  • Leverage Appian Plugins for use in SAIL and process models
  • Integrate external web services via REST
  • Traverse logs to determine system and development errors
  • Experience with implementing BPM solutions for case management
  • Staying up to date on industry trends
  • Excellent communication
