Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an ASME Design Engineer at RMB Products, Inc. The ASME Design Engineer will be responsible for design and support of manufacturing of corrosion protection products and any related tooling for the manufacturing process. Includes Drawings to be produced by CAD utilizing the principles of good mechanical design practice via Solidworks. The daily tasks may include conducting research, analyzing project requirements, developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
- Knowledge of ASME BPVC, Section VIII
- Knowledge of ASME calculation software, Compress preferred
- Experience in Product Design
- General knowledge of working materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3-5 years’ experience in the related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
