Position Title: Supervisor, Direct Sales


$35,000 to $60,000 annually, plus an annual target commission of $44,000

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Direct Sales is responsible for building and maintaining a local Sales team for Ziply’s Residential Sales Organization. This includes teams that sell door-to-door in Residential neighborhoods, Multi-Family Unit residents, and Small to mid-size businesses.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • onboard, train, support, and manage a high performing sales team of 10+ Direct Sales Account Executives.
  • the creation of e-learning, classroom sales training materials, and associated curriculum in tandem with Sales Trainer.
  • community building events as new fiber areas & properties are launched.
  • in building new reporting processes for sales team.
  • and exceed monthly sales performance expectations for all sales channels you’re responsible for.
  • and evaluate sales performance reporting dashboards with BI team.
  • and monitor lead and lag sales performance measurements.
  • team collaboration; offer strategy & communication, collateral material creation & distribution.
  • responsibilities include - operational expense tracking, processing mileage reimbursements, payments to community event organizers, and others.
  • industry developments (technical, regulatory, and otherwise) and apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact analysis.


Qualifications:

  • degree desired, advanced degree preferred.
  • years of Telecom industry experience.
  • years of Sales Supervisory experience.
  • record of meeting and exceeding sales performance expectations.
  • communication and customer service skills.
  • proficiency in MS Office products.
  • financial analysis and project management abilities.
  • in making data driven business recommendations.
  • and problem-solving aptitude.
  • have reliable transportation and willing to travel as needed.
  • have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Work Environment and Additional Information

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a modern office setting.
