Product Designer
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $228,800 - $249,600 per year
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Hybrid Role
Job Summary:
As a Product Designer, you will work with members of the Applications design team, as well as our engineering, marketing, and QA groups, from brainstorming through implementation. You will quickly grasp and distill complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. We need an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills willing to prove themself within a company of talented individuals. The Product Designer is key to determining the future design direction of our consumer apps. We are looking for a visionary designer ready to take software applications for macOS and iOS to the next level. Our ideal candidate possesses that rare blend of interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree in human interaction sociology, psychology, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent
- Experience designing desktop applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Demonstrable fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools
- Able to do rapid prototyping in Flash and HTML5
- Complete mastery of macOS and iOS. Experience with iLife and iWork is a big plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
