Job Responsibilities:
- Create a daily production schedule of materials for processing.
- Provide information to the Production Assistant on how to set up jobs, and close jobs upon completion of processing.
- Review Open Order list daily.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and communicate them to management.
- Prepare and post daily job production priority lists for all shifts to ensure jobs are produced in the correct order.
- Set performance expectations and monitor them closely.
- Manage and evaluate the entire production process.
- Contribute to production planning and budgeting.
- Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe production environment.
- Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent, required.
Additional years of experience in this role/industry may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience leading Shift Supervisors.
- Experience in Food Manufacturing specifically.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Forklift experience, not required but would be a plus!
