We are seeking a skilled and innovative Modeling & Simulation Hardware Engineer to join our team, focusing on designing and developing hardware solutions for modeling and simulation test racks. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality hardware solutions.
The position is On-Site Full Time.
Responsibilities:
- 5 – 10 Years experience Designing and developing hardware solutions for modeling and simulation test racks, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Define hardware specifications and requirements based on project objectives, performance criteria, and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to select appropriate hardware components and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of hardware systems.
- Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware designs to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize hardware performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to hardware development, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs.
- Generate documentation including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Installation of hardware and hardware in racks will be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in hardware development, preferably in the requirements, design and implementation of hardware for modeling and simulation applications.
- Strong knowledge of hardware components, architectures, and technologies, with a focus on servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Experience with the installation of hardware, testing methodologies, including prototype development, validation testing, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to hardware development (e.g., IEEE, ISO).
