Job Purpose:

Provide functional leadership and support for all ERP-related business scenarios including but not limited to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Warehouse Automation, and EDI messaging and related business process changes.

Manage and Support ERP upgrades and implementation of new products/modules.

Performs business analysis gathering and investigating requirements for ERP modules as well as participates in building a strategy towards use of existing and new modules.

Acts as a Team Lead/Project Manager leading and collaborating in the project planning activities, driving timeline management and project execution as required.

Works directly with customers and all business teams to gather supply chain related business requirement, architect, customize, and deliver technologies necessary to support the required business processes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • ERP Systems administration, system and user security; system monitoring on routine basis.
  • Functional support for all ERP related business scenarios, acting as a business process expert and liaison for the department to the end-user community.
  • SQL database queries and reporting on as needed basis.
  • Coordinates gathering and investigation of requirements for ERP modules as well as participates in building a strategy towards use of new and existing modules.
  • Designs and delivers training classes for use of ERP with emphasis on the business process implications both locally and from an enterprise perspective.
  • Leads or serves as subject matter equivalent in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations. Excellent communication skills are a must for this position.
  • Conducts impact analysis of ERP products, systems, upgrades and changes for department/functional areas, and evaluates systems and business processes.
  • Identifies and resolves issues by recommending modifications to business processes if applicable.
  • Troubleshoots automated system problems and issues encountered by users. Provides web support as necessary.
  • Defines and creates test plans, test scripts, and test procedures for new enhancements or upgrades.
  • Work closely with customers to plan, execute, and implement data exchanges.
  • Mentors and trains subordinate analysts.
  • Lead projects; determine the objectives and goals of ERP implementation and the feasibility of certain goals. Identify risks associated with the project, all time and budget expectations and constraints. Advises management team on the way the ERP will change each department’s role and leads appropriate change management to maximize likelihood of successful acceptance of change.

Experience and Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

5 years of experience with a major ERP system in manufacturing facilities.

Project Management experience desired.

Understanding of financial and manufacturing modules.

Abilities Required

Must have experience with the implementation and support of purchased software.
